Outreach

Our commitment to the community:
Archinoetics is committed to working in the community to promote STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and math) for K-12 students. Through a number of initiatives and partnering with local non-profit organizations, Archinoetics employees visit public schools to teach software engineering and computer animation, facilitate robotics competitions, speak on career days, and mentor aspiring scientists and engineers.
Teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM)
Archinoetics is a tireless, passionate community supporter and advocate for education. For years, they have been dedicated to providing resources and support for students pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related interests.

- Archinoetics employees regularly visit public schools for Project Niu, which teaches hands-on, project-based learning in oceanography, technology, math, and environmental stewardship. Our scientists and engineers have a great time being guest teachers in classes, on field trips, and at special enrichment seminars. Please see the Project Niu page to learn more about this exciting project.
- Archinoetics has lead workshops in Alice, a 3D computer animation program for teaching computer programming through storytelling. Our work has been part of the UH Manoa GEAR UP program and has reached hundreds of elementary and middle school students.
- Archinoetics engineers have served annually as judges in the Hawaii State Science & Engineerg Fair (HSSEF), an enrichment program that stimulates interest in science & encourages entry into a science related career. Excellence of student achievement is recognized & rewarded.
