With the alarming rate of fatigue-related accidents in high-risk jobs, such as in the military and aviation, there is a clear need to identify at-risk individuals as well as take actions to avoid fatigue.

Fatigue & Performance Monitor

The Fatigue & Performance Monitor is a lightweight and portable wrist-worn device that combines a sensor suite with individualized performance models. It predicts performance levels and suggests behaviors that can optimize future capabilities.

SleepBand
The SleepBand (photo, below) collects accelerometry data to provide low-cost, expert-based sleep and fatigue analyses that reveal the quantity and quality of one’s sleep. Now in large scale production, the Sleep Band is in use at a number of facilities on four continents as part of an Archinoetics’ subsidiary company, Fatigue Science.

Fatigue Avoidance Scheduling
Targeting industries that require personnel to remain vigilant despite grueling schedules, our fatigue avoidance application estimates real-time individual effectiveness levels based on work schedules and geographic locations. Future schedules are built according to predictions of individual personnel fatigue to avoid low levels of effectiveness during critical shifts. Much of this work is done with Archinoetics’ subsidiary company, Fatigue Science.
