In the post-9/11 era, there has been increased surveillance in the terrestrial, space, and maritime domains. As this information is collected in increasingly more massive scales, the need for filtering and sifting through these data to find bits of relevant intelligence exceeds the capacity of intelligence analysts. Archinoetics is employing the use of intelligent algorithms to analyze these data and efficiently present only what is currently applicable to the user.

This project covers the development of a platform that mimics human behavior and is predictive while remaining relatively independent of the sensors or data stream inputs, thereby allowing its use in virtually any surveillance domain with any set of sensors. This platform has framed around a harbor monitoring solution, in which video and AIS ship tracking information will be used as the data inputs to the algorithm to predict vessel movement and identify anomalous behavior.
